Description
Crazy Horse Pull-Up leather is usually made from high-quality full-grain cowhide. It goes through a vegetable tanning process or a combination tanning (veg re-tan with chrome) to strengthen the fibers while keeping the natural look. After tanning, the leather is treated with a mix of natural oils, waxes, and sometimes paraffin.
This heavy infusion of wax and oil creates the “pull-up” effect—when the leather is bent, stretched, or scratched, the oils shift within the fibers, producing lighter marks and a rich, distressed look. Over time, it develops a unique patina, enhancing its vintage character.
