One way is to use a flat piece of wood that slightly covers the die and then strike it with a soft mallet or maul. Alternatively, you can use the Craftplus® Multi-Purpose Leather Hand Press with a press plate to cut easily with even force. We recommend using a punch board underneath to protect the dies.
