Our Toscano Italian Veg-Tan Double Shoulder Leather is a premium A-grade leather produced in Tuscany, Italy. Made using traditional vegetable-tanning methods, it offers the clean surface, firm handle and natural character expected from genuine Tuscan leather.

Supplied in a versatile 1.4-1.8mm  thickness, this lightweight full-grain leather is ideal for detailed leathercraft projects requiring a strong but manageable material.

Genuine Tuscan Vegetable-Tanned Leather

This is genuine Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather with a natural crust finish. It has not been heavily coated, allowing the leather’s grain, natural markings and shoulder wrinkles to remain visible.

Because it is 100% vegetable tanned, the leather can be:

Australia Post shipping requirements

Due to Australia Post parcel-size restrictions, the double shoulder may need to be cut down to a maximum length of 1 metre before postage.

Any piece removed from the shoulder will be placed in the parcel and supplied with your order. You will therefore receive the entire piece of leather, including the section removed for shipping.

Do you require the leather uncut?

If you require your Toscano double shoulder to remain completely uncut, please phone Mac‑Lace Leather before placing your order.

We can arrange delivery through a suitable courier and provide a separate freight quote. Uncut leather cannot be sent using our standard Australia Post shipping option.

Natural leather characteristics

Genuine full-grain leather may display natural grain variations, wrinkles, growth marks, minor scars and slight differences in colour. These are normal characteristics of real leather and are not considered faults.

The shoulder area naturally contains more wrinkles and grain variation than other sections of a hide. These features give every piece its own individual character.
