Crazy Horse Leather

Crazy Horse leather is not leather made from horses. It is a distinctive finishing style most commonly applied to premium full-grain or top-grain cowhide. The leather is treated with natural waxes and oils to create its well-known rugged appearance, smooth feel and rich pull-up effect.

When Crazy Horse leather is folded, rubbed or lightly scratched, the waxes move within the hide and cause the colour to change shade. This creates natural highlights and a beautifully distressed appearance. Marks can often be softened by gently rubbing the surface, while those left untouched gradually become part of the leather’s unique character.
