Premium Natural Italian Veg-Tan Leather
Craft durable, traditional leather goods with this premium natural Italian veg-tan leather. Produced in Italy using a full vegetable-tanning process, this leather has a clean, natural light-cream colour and a substantial thickness of approximately 3.8-4mm.
Its unfinished natural surface provides an excellent foundation for dyeing, oiling, antiquing and finishing. The leather can also be carved, stamped or embossed, allowing leatherworkers to create detailed and highly individual pieces.

Natural Leather That Develops Character
Because this leather is fully vegetable tanned and unfinished, it will naturally respond to handling, oils, dyes and exposure to light. The light-cream colour will gradually deepen and develop a rich patina as the leather ages.
Natural grain, marks and minor variations may be visible. These are normal characteristics of genuine full-grain leather and help make every finished project unique.
Single and Double Butt Options
This leather is available in single and double butt selections, with horizontal or vertical cutting options. A complete double butt measures approximately 1.75–2.0 square metres, although the exact dimensions and shape will vary because leather is a natural product.
Shipping Information
To comply with Australia Post size regulations, the leather may need to be trimmed or cut to fit within the maximum parcel dimensions. Double butts are cut horizontally by default, and any removed trimmings will be included with your order.
