Discover the art of Leather Carving with expert guidance from Master Craftsman Bullet Freeman and The Crazy Craftsman, George Philbey. Join us for a beginner’s course at Maclace, where you’ll learn to create a personalized, hand-carved Leather Can (Stubby) Cooler.

Throughout the course, you’ll receive comprehensive instruction on each step of the process, including selecting the right type of leather, transferring a pattern, using a swivel knife to carve, beveling, dyeing, and lacing or stitching the finished product. By the end of the lesson, you’ll have your very own masterpiece and the confidence to continue creating on your own.

To ensure you’re prepared for the class, please arrive 15 minutes early to collect your toolbox. As a special bonus, your course coincides with a visit from the Aussie Leather Crafters, so you’ll have the opportunity to network and connect with other enthusiasts during a short break.
