Leather Edger – takes off approx 1.0 – 1.5 mm

This New Bevel will take about  1 – 1.5 mm off the edge of leather such as a belt, or around the edge of a small purse. It has a cutting edge that removes a thin piece of leather. The tool can be used to remove the edge from the top side and also the back of leather. After using the Bevel it is recommended that the leather edge be polished with an edge slicker. This tool takes a small amount of leather off (compared to other bevels) so is good on the thinner leathers like 1.5mm and 2 mm thick,  but can be used on the thicker leathers as well. Please note the tool works better on stiffer leathers and may be difficult to use on soft floppy leather.
