Event Time:

Event Location:

With all that is happening in the world today, have you ever wished to step back in time? While we may not be able to do that, we can certainly dress the part. In this course, you will have the opportunity to make your very own Plague Doctor mask and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this iconic figure. Join us and discover the art of creating a unique and historically inspired piece.

You will be taught the following.
• Tracing a pattern
• Sizing a mask
• Marking and punching stitching holes
• Cutting out more intricate patterns (curves, circles, etc)
• Saddle stitching
• Setting rivets
• Burnishing and finishing

This is an excellent steppingstone into the realm of making masks. The patterns are simple and the basic techniques you will be taught follow through to just about every other project you can make.
